Nir SALOMON

After becoming a certified TCM therapist at the Broshim College of TCM in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2004, Nir Salomon immediately started specializing in gastro-intestinal diseases. In 2008 he became a TCM teacher at the Broshim College of TCM in Tel Aviv, Israel and the Director of TCM service at the Gastroenterology Department of the Sheba Medical Center at Ramat Gan, Israel. In 2009 he became Head of gastroenterology seminar teachings at the Broshim College of TCM) and in 2010 Director of Integrative Medicine at the Gastroenterology Department of the Sheba Medical Center, where he is also the Founder of integrative medicine unit.


Nir Salomon is involved in various integrative gastroenterological trials and published several scientific articles (“Curcumin, but not mesalamine, inhibits activated T-cells: Implications for  combo curcumin-mesalamine UC therapy” [Salomon, 2013. Journal of gastroenterology and hepatology]; “Berberine, alone and in conjunction with immuno-modulators, down-regulates pro-inflammatory CD4+T-cells: Implications for a combined treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases” [Salomon, 2014.  Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology]; “Bonding, visceral hypersensitivity and Gui Zhi Tang (cinnamon twig decoction) in irritable bowel syndrome” [Salomon, 2014.  Journal of Chinese Medicine]).
