Nature changes. Continuously. Constantly creating new balances that are
best, given the circumstances.
So what about human nature?
Well, that changes too continuously, because we are constantly connected
through our channels with the external environment and the universal qi. The
channels are communicating the state of the external environment to the
internal body and the internal body in turn communicates the state of each
organ system to each other. Thus, all sorts of new balances are created,
constantly, given the circumstances.
So what makes a human healthy?
To understand health, we have to understand harmony. Since a human body is
not just a physical entity, but also energetic in nature, a human being is
healthy when there is harmony on several levels at the same time: on a
general energetic level the human energies must be in balance with the
cosmological energies and on an individual physical-energetic level the
spiritual energies must be in balance with the physical body.
That raises the question: what determines these balances?
Here, too, the answer is twofold: a human being harmonizes with his unique
spiritual makeup, the universe harmonizes with all the energetic
manifestations from which it is made and that are constantly transforming
into each other, thus creating a dynamic harmonious mixture of all aspects
of qi. It is an eternal dance of continuous becoming, moment after moment
after moment, beautifully illustrated by the yin-yang symbol. Phrased
differently, you could also say: from an eternity perspective, the universe
IS harmony, and from a linear time perspective, the universe constantly
creates harmony, while simultaneously harmonizing with its own dynamically
balanced qi.
12 Chinese animals that make a difference
The human spiritual makeup is something special. It is what determines his
personality, organ health, talents, and abilities. To make it even more
beautiful: it is the footprint that the universe gives to everyone at the
moment they are born. This energetic footprint is a snapshot of the balance
of the different energies present in the universe at the specific time
(hour, day, month, and year) when a human is born. Thanks to Chinese
astrology, these times are also associated with the 12 Chinese animals of
the zodiac, each with its own energetical characteristics.
In this course, CT Holman will explain to you how combining the symbols from
the five elements and the 12 animals provides a comprehensive understanding
of a person’s true nature and the possible health challenges they could
face. You will certainly be able to use this information with your patients,
both in making the right choices for your treatment and in explaining to
your patients how to make the most of the energetic makeup they have been
given at birth from the universe. By treating your patients you create, as
it were, the optimal conditions on a physical-energetic level so that they
can regain balance with their natural makeup. And of course, as always in
Chinese medicine, this physical-energetic treatment is in turn related on a
general energetic level to the universal qi at the time of the treatment.
Understanding the energetics of the 12 Chinese animals is therefore
essential. CT Holman has spent many years studying, practicing and
successfully applying some of the authentic and individual enhancing Chinese
shamanic remedies — including the energetics of the 12 Chinese animals — in
his practice. And, as it applies to all good and knowledgeable teachers: if
you understand something in detail, you can explain it perfectly to others,
so that they can understand it too.
