Ken ROSE

After his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the California Institute of the Arts in 1972, he followed between 1992 and 1998 the Apprentiship training in Taijiquan, Chinese medicine and Daoist Yang Sheng at the Chengdu University of TCM in China.


Ken is co-author of the books 'Who can ride the Dragon?' and 'A brief history of Qi'. At the moment he is working on 'One square inch - a handbook of Daoist Alchemy'. He has holded several functions in the area of education and mass media and has worked for radio and television. In 2005 he founded 'Three Springs Institute', a cooperation with the aim to promote understanding of the ancient Chinese art of self cultivation in modern society.  


Ken teaches tai ji, tui na, and Chinese medicine classes at a number of schools in Europe, as well as at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, CA.  Ken has lectured on the subjects of Chinese philosophy, culture, medicine and martial arts all over the world.
